MarsDome — the insulated composite dome.

Quiet. Dry. Fewer complaints.
MarsDome Charcoal — deep matte composite shell with warm interior light through the glass.

One structure. Two exterior expressions.

MarsDome Charcoal — deep matte composite shell

Charcoal. The lead expression.

A deep matte exterior for hospitality projects with a clear point of view.

MarsDome White — light composite shell

White. Clean. Timeless.

Also available — a calm, light-toned expression for landscapes that call for it.

You started this to welcome guests.
To build something that lasts.
Look at where the hours actually go.
A business has a direction. So does a structure.
When they point different ways, you feel it in the daily friction.

Two systems. One shape.

A traditional geodesic dome separates structure from skin — a metal frame with fabric or panels attached to it. Each node a thermal bridge. Each connection a future maintenance call.

A MarsDome is a composite sandwich shell — nine rigid panels interlocked into one load-bearing structure. The shell carries everything: snow load, wind load, its own weight. The way a boat hull does. The way an egg does.

No frame. No fabric. No nodes. Nine panels form one structural shell.

Better insulation changes the math.

Off-grid

R-28 insulation means smaller solar arrays, smaller battery banks, lower upfront infrastructure cost. The dome itself reduces what you need to generate and store.

Grid-connected

Lower heating and cooling loads across every season. The monthly utility difference compounds — year one through year thirty.

Ancillary

Zero structural maintenance budget. Reduced guest complaints. Year-round operability in climates where seasonal shutdown was the default. These are real line items.

This is what we do.

MarsDome installed in Yellowknife
Yellowknife, NWT, Canada

An Inuvialuit community leader and her engineer husband took delivery of a MarsDome. They operated it through one Arctic winter. Then two. Then they told us what it needed to become.

Interior of MarsDome in Yellowknife
Inside the dome — warm, quiet, still

Their feedback was direct: in −45°C, with wind, 5cm wasn't enough. Four inches. That was the number. 106mm became the MarsDome standard — not because we chose it, but because the Arctic did.

0mm → 50mm → 106mm. We started as the factory — building single-layer FRP domes for an American company, to their specification. No insulation. We shipped what we were asked to ship. Then we tracked what happened to those domes in the field. The condensation. The heat bleeding through the shell. The structure was doing its job. The wall was not. We built the first MarsDome for ourselves with 5cm of insulation — already a different category of structure. Then Yellowknife. Two Arctic winters. The people living in it told us, directly, that 5cm was not enough. We moved to 4 inches. 106mm. No committee picked that number. The Arctic did.

A structure that stays in the background. Where it belongs.

The guests arrive. The seasons turn. The business grows.
The dome doesn't ask for anything.
